Excitement all around

Yesterday was a BIG DEAL. We had our immigration interview for Dustin to hopefully get his permanent resident card.  We woke up super early (actually, I pretty much didn't sleep a wink... which always happens when I have somewhere to be the next day!), gathered our documents and off we went! 

For those of you that haven't been following the story of Dustin and I (you can read one of our troubles here), we have been dealing with immigration for years... so this was a very very happy occasion!

When we arrived, it was just a small office with three ladies working. They were all so super nice.  We waited for one older couple to finish their interview and then it was our turn!

All we had to do was sit down in an office with a lady who basically asked us three simple questions and they said those magic words to D... "You're now a permanent resident!"  YIPPEE!! If you knew how long we were waiting to hear that!!!  She went over a couple other things with us, but the whole thing only took about 10 mins. Now my man can work here and we can look forward to planning other things, like our wedding!

It feels soooo good to have some assurance and I am beyond thrilled that this is over!!
