Last month, I signed up for my very first subscription with Loose Button's Luxe Box and I can't even tell you how excited I was when it arrived! Luxe Box is the same idea is Birchbox, if you've heard of it. Basically, you sign up for a subscription, which depending on the company can range from $8-$20 a month.  They send you samples of products in a personalized package, just for you, every month for the length of your subscription.

Luxe Box is Canada's version of Birchbox and it only costs $12 a month, with free shipping. You can start and stop your subscription at any time, so you don't feel like you're just throwing your money away every month!  I chose to go with them because I loved so many of the brands they have signed up.

When you sign up, they also ask you a few questions to further personalize your experience... if I remember correctly, types of products you use such as makeup or hair, eye colour, etc. I'm starting to sound like an advertisement now so I'll just let you check out all the details on their website!

When I opened my first box, I was touched at how cute and personalized it all was. They really go all out on the packaging!  This was apparently a "limited edition" Flare magazine box.

Included was a full size China Glaze nail polish, which I happen to be wearing right now! A CHI "leave in reconstructing treatment" sample size for your hair, Dermalogica microfoliant which helps exfoliate your skin by removing debris, and a lovely sized sample of Nina Ricci's "L'air" scent.

I haven't tried the CHI or the exfoliant yet, but I am really pleased with the sizes of the samples, and that perfume bottle is adorable!

Seriously, if you haven't signed up for one of these subscriptions yet, you're missing out! I can't wait for my new box this month. This would make the perfect gift for someone too... a gift that keeps on giving!  If you're a Canadian like me, I would totally recommend Loose Button's Luxe Box!
