Being Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving my fellow Canadians!  Yes yes, I know, most of you are American and have your thanksgiving next month. My fiance is an American and had to adjust to this too.

We had our Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. It was fabulous. I spent the day in the kitchen with my mom preparing a feast that was far too big for just the three of us.  My brother is in Italy so normally this would have been a slightly larger event.

Don't you just love Thanksgiving food?! yummm!! If only it didn't take hours to prepare and could be considered an every day dinner. The rarity makes it pretty special though, and leftovers can feed you for a week!

"drop some turkey, mom!"

Nothing beats my mom's stuffing. NOTHING!

Today, I am thankful for:
My health
My family and pets
My past achievements
Love
My car that still hasn't died on me *knock on wood*
Dustin's immigration paperwork finally nearing an end
My blog sponsors <3
Being able to be reconnected with someone lost through dreams
Decisions that put me right here
New friends and new relationships created through blogging
Fall forest walks and talks
You. For reading this and being interested in my not-so-interesting life. :)

What are you thankful for?
